TaskEsc SMS Opt-In

TaskEsc sends SMS messages for account verification (one-time codes), follow-up questions about your submitted service requests, and transactional job status updates (for example, when your results are ready). This page describes how to opt in, how to opt out, and the full program disclosures.

How to opt in

  1. Create a TaskEsc account at taskesc.com/auth/signup.
  2. After signing in, go to your Profile page (auth-gated) and enter your US mobile number in the “SMS Job Submission” section. A consent notice is displayed directly above the phone input.
  3. Tap Send Code. We will text you a 6-digit verification code.
  4. Enter the code in the “Verify” field to confirm opt-in. You are now enrolled and will receive the message types listed above.

Program disclosures

  • Program name: TaskEsc SMS notifications.
  • Message types: account verification (OTP), follow-up questions about submitted service requests, and transactional job status updates.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Typical users receive between zero and ten messages per job request, plus occasional verification messages.
  • Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge for sending and receiving text messages; please contact your carrier for details.
  • HELP instructions: Reply HELP to any TaskEsc message to receive support information, or visit taskesc.com/help, or email support@taskesc.com.
  • STOP / opt-out instructions: Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any TaskEsc message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation of your opt-out and no further messages. You can also opt out by removing your phone number from your Profile page.
  • Privacy: Your phone number is used only to deliver the messages described above. We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties for marketing. Full details: see our Privacy Policy and SMS Policy.
  • Carriers: Supported on all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
